Program Description

Today's leaders face an enormous challenge in building and maintaining effective organizations in the face of a diverse employee population, intense global competition, and rapid technological changes.  As such, leaders need in-depth knowledge and skills in leadership and organizational change more than ever as they try to transform their organizations to meet current and future challenges.   The Master in Executive Leadership and Organizational Change program prepares professionals and managers to meet these contemporary challenges by helping them develop their leadership competencies and organizational change skills.

This innovative program applies the most current theories and practices on leadership and organizational change through multiple organizational levels:  individual, team, and organizational systems.  Using the latest adult-learning framework of ACT (action learning, competency-based, and teamwork development), the program helps leaders and professionals develop a broad set of knowledge and skills that allows them to transform their current organizations into more effective ones.  As such, the program is well suited for HR or OD professionals or consultants who are engaged in organizational change practices as well as managers who need to demonstrate leadership in their current organizations.

"The ELOC program is just what I was looking for.  The course
material gives me the edge on becoming a better leader.  The
format allows me to pursue my career while continuing my
education.  The ACT (Action learning, Compentency based, and
Teamwork development) format of instruction allows me to apply
the theory and develop my skill set as I am working.  It has improved
my current position as a leader."
