Vicki Casto
VP of Operations
Car-Part.com

In July 2009, Vicki accepted a new career challenge as VP Operations with Car-Part.com.  Car-Part.com is a web-based service organization within the auto salvage and recycling industry.  They have been in business since 1989 and have experienced tremendous growth over the past few years requiring a concerted focus on their operational infrastructure to insure long-term success.  Vicki has joined the Car-Part.com team to lead this initiative on process development and improvement.

Vicki has an extremely diverse background with her experiences in various industries and responsibilities, such as hotel management, commercial and retail office supply management and sales, parcel service sales, and quality systems management in both manufacturing and engineering environments.  In light of all this diversity, approximately 15 years ago, Vicki began to channel her interests and strengths on teh world of Quality Management Systems.  She has led an organization to successful ISO9001 and AS9100 registration and she has managed quality system organizations in industries such as aerospace, Department of Defense (DoD), and automotive.  During these years, Vicki focused significantly on process improvement, auditing, and training.  Additionally, Vicki has earned the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Auditor Certification, she is a Certified IPC Trainer for the electronics industry, she has experience with the DOD model for improvement call CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) and she has experience with other organizational tools including Six Sigma, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing.

Vicki's experience with NKU's ELOC program has been an incredible eye-opener as she has learned so much more about herself as a person and as a leader.  It has provided her the tools to identify and develop her emotional competencies enabling her to be more effective in both her professional and personal roles in life.  ELOC has also helped her to better understand the single most important factor in any organizational change initiative: the workforce, which is teh key to any successful organization.

Vicki currently resides in Finneytown, Ohio.  Her hobbies and interestes are volleyball, hiking, bicycling, gardening, the Arts, and travel.
