Ying Sophie Huang, Ph.D.

Dr. Ying (Sophie) Huang is Assistant Professor of Finance. She received a Ph.D. and an M. Phil. in Financial Economics from the City University of New York, and a B.A. from Wuhan University of Technology, China. Her teaching and research interests are in the fields of financial derivatives, corporate finance, and international finance. Dr. Huang has nearly twenty articles published in various academic journals, including Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Empirical Finance, Journal of Futures Markets, Review of Financial Economics, and Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance. Prior to joining NKU, she was an Assistant Professor at Manhattan College in New York City.
