Jim Bradtmueller, Ph.D.

In the Fall Semester of 2009, Dr. Jim Bradtmueller will be an Assistant Professor of Construction Management.  He holds a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Wood Science from Purdue University.  Dr. Bradtmueller has over ten years of experience researching wood and wood composites.  Additionally, he has over 14 years of industry experience in engineered lumber manufacturing while working for Trus Joist and Weyerhaeuser.  He has held such positions as technical director, project engineer, senior technical manager, and project manager.  He also has expertise in quality assurance development and monitoring, in organizing and leading audits of quality management systems, and in project management across business functions.
