Students pursuing the B.S. in Accounting must meet all selective admission requirements of the Haile/USBank College of Business and complete the College of Business core courses in addition to the core courses in Accounting. The accounting major requires practical training through a pre-approved paid work experience that also carries course credit as ACC 396. To graduate with a degree in Accounting, a student must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 in ACC 202 and all 300-level and 400-level Accounting courses.
Students pursuing the B.S. in Finance must meet all selective admission requirements of the Haile/USBank College of Business and complete the College of Business core courses in addition to the core courses in Finance. The finance major requires completion of four core courses in finance and four upper level finance electives. To graduate with a degree in Finance, a student must earn a grade of at least C in all finance courses taken.
The Master of Accountancy degree meets the 150-hour requirement to sit for the CPA Exam and prepares graduates for immediate entry into careers in public accounting. The capstone course in the program is a required CPA Review course taught in cooperation with Becker CPA Review, which prepares students to sit for the CPA Exam immediately upon graduation.
