About the College
Welcome to the Haile/US Bank College of Business
The Haile/US Bank College of Business is a great place to learn and work. Students in the Haile/US Bank College of Business obtain the skills, abilities, and knowledge needed to succeed in business. Our high-quality faculty are dedicated to students and their development as future business leaders. Our students, faculty, alumni, and friends make us a great college of business..
We are the Haile/U.S. Bank Foundation College of Business as a result of a $15 million donation – the largest single gift in NKU history – given in memory of local philanthropists, Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile Jr. This gift greatly enhances our capacity to serve the region through teaching, scholarship, and outreach. Few colleges of business have such a significant endowment. The importance of this endowment is that we can support excellence in faculty, students, and administration via endowed chairs, a leadership chair, faculty development, and student scholarships. In essence, the funds help us assure quality of instruction in the classroom while also supporting and attracting quality students and faculty to our college.
We offer undergraduate programs across the traditional business disciplines as well as specialty programs in Entrepreneurship, Sports Business, and Construction Management. You can be assured our programs are top quality. The business program is one of only 620 business schools in the world accredited by AACSB-International, which puts us in lofty territory among business schools. The Construction Management program carries its own accreditation though the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE), which adds an assurance that quality education occurs in the CM program as well.
Our graduate programs include the MBA, the Master of Accountancy and our innovative niche executive program – the Master of Leadership and Organizational Change (ELOC). Our MBA program is recognized as one of the best by the U.S. by the Princeton Review in its Best Business Schools publication.
Our staff of professional advisors in the Haile/US Bank College Business Advising Center provides quality services to students while also generating many opportunities for students to engage with the business community. We support co-ops, internships, international experiences, and student groups in all majors.
We have a variety of centers that provide significant outreach to the region. These centers include the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Alternative Dispute Resolution Center, Marketing Research Partnership Program, Center for Economic Education, and the Center for Economic Analysis and Development.
We will continue to enhance the services we provide to our various constituencies through high-quality teaching, the discovery and dissemination of knowledge, and our partnerships with business and other local organizations that together contribute to regional prosperity. Excellence and engagement in business education is what we do!
