Request Our ServicesIn resolving a dispute, there are two alternatives, mediation and arbitration. Mediation is usually the first step. Mediation is a preferred method of resolving disputes and negotiation impasses between employer and employee, businesses, families and communities. Mediation is often very successful because the parties themselves develop a settlement with the help of a neutral third-party - the mediator. The mediator does not offer proposals or have any authority force either party to accept any proposal. Complete a Request for Mediation If mediation fails, the dispute may be taken to arbitration. In arbitration, all parties sign a contract agreeing that they will work with a neutral third party, an arbitrator, to resolve the dispute. At the end of the process the arbitrator renders a decision, made with the cooperation of the parties involved, that is final and binding.
